Life can feel overwhelming at times, whether you’re navigating challenges yourself or watching your child struggle. Tammi believes that healing begins with having a place where people feel genuinely welcomed, understood, and supported. She is committed to creating a therapeutic relationship grounded in warmth, compassion, curiosity, and hope, where children, adolescents, adults, and families feel safe to explore, grow, and heal.

Tammi enjoys working with children ages 6 and older, adolescents, adults, and families facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, stress, ADHD and executive functioning difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder, emotional regulation concerns, trauma, depression, self-esteem, school-related challenges, behavioral concerns, social skills development, life transitions, grief and loss, and parenting concerns. She recognizes that every person’s story is unique and believes therapy should be tailored to each individual’s strengths, experiences, and goals.

Tammi has completed training in Natural Processing, a somatic approach to EMDR that helps the brain and body naturally process unresolved experiences, and she continues to deepen her skills through ongoing consultation. She enjoys incorporating this body-based, experiential approach when appropriate to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and lived experiences. Rather than simply managing symptoms, Tammi believes therapy can help clients experience deeper healing and lasting change.

Children and families hold a special place in Tammi’s heart. She strives to create a warm, engaging environment where children can express themselves, build confidence, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop healthy coping skills through creativity, connection, movement, and developmentally appropriate interventions. She also values partnering with parents, believing that education, encouragement, and collaboration can strengthen the entire family’s healing journey.

Tammi’s counseling approach is collaborative, personalized, and grounded in the belief that every person has the capacity for growth and healing. Depending on each client’s needs, she integrates Natural Processing with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed therapy, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, play therapy, expressive arts, and strengths-based approaches to support meaningful, lasting change.

Tammi is passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults, and families discover their strengths and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence. She believes meaningful healing happens when people feel seen, supported, and understood. Her hope is that each client leaves therapy with practical tools, renewed resilience, and confidence in their ability to continue growing long after therapy has ended.

Not Sure Which Therapist Is Right for You?

Finding the right therapist is an important part of the healing process. If someone isn’t sure who would be the best fit, I’d like them to contact me directly. I can learn a little about what they’re looking for and help match them with the therapist who best fits their needs, preferences, scheduling availability, and insurance.
