Life can feel overwhelming at times, especially when past experiences, stress, or difficult emotions begin to affect your relationships, your sense of self, or your ability to move forward. Patrick believes that healing begins with having a place where you feel genuinely understood, supported, and accepted. He is committed to creating a therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity, and genuine connection, where clients feel safe to be themselves without fear of judgment.

Patrick works with adults facing a wide range of life challenges, including trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, stress, and major life transitions. He recognizes that every person’s story is unique and believes therapy should be tailored to each individual’s experiences, strengths, and goals. Rather than offering quick solutions, Patrick partners with clients to better understand themselves, work through difficult experiences, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Patrick’s primary therapeutic approach is Natural Processing, a somatic approach to EMDR that helps the brain and body naturally process unresolved experiences. Rather than simply managing symptoms, this approach supports deeper healing by addressing the experiences that continue to influence emotions, relationships, and daily life. As those experiences are processed, clients often experience greater freedom, resilience, and a renewed sense of connection with themselves and others.

Patrick’s style is collaborative, compassionate, and genuine. He believes that each client brings unique strengths, wisdom, and insight into their own life, and his role is to walk alongside them with curiosity, encouragement, and respect. Some days that means offering guidance, while other days it means simply providing a steady presence as clients discover their own path forward. His goal is to create an environment where people feel comfortable being honest, exploring difficult emotions, and growing at a pace that feels right for them.

Patrick earned his Master of Arts in Counseling from Maryville University and is committed to ongoing professional development so he can continue providing thoughtful, evidence-based care. He believes therapy is not about fixing people, but about helping them uncover their own capacity for healing, growth, and living a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

Outside of the therapy office, Patrick enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He is an avid sports fan who enjoys playing soccer and golf, and he values the balance that family, recreation, and community bring to everyday life. He considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they move toward healing, greater self-understanding, and a life that feels more connected and meaningful.

Not Sure Which Therapist Is Right for You?

Finding the right therapist is an important part of the healing process. If someone isn’t sure who would be the best fit, I’d like them to contact me directly. I can learn a little about what they’re looking for and help match them with the therapist who best fits their needs, preferences, scheduling availability, and insurance.
