Women’s Trauma & Attachment Healing Group

Online Psychotherapy Group for Women

Mondays from 6:30–8:00 p.m. Central
Meets virtually through Zoom
Monthly in-person gathering at our Sunset Hills office
$50 per session, private pay

Trauma and attachment injuries can affect how we feel in our bodies, relate to others, respond to stress, and experience safety in relationships. Healing does not have to happen alone.

This ongoing psychotherapy group offers women a compassionate and supportive space to explore the effects of trauma and painful relationship experiences. Members connect with others who understand, develop greater awareness of their emotional and nervous system responses, and work toward meaningful healing in a safe, supportive community.

Who This Group May Help

This group may be a good fit for women who:

  • Feel shaped by trauma or difficult relationships
  • Experience anxiety, emotional overwhelm, shutdown, or disconnection
  • Notice painful patterns repeating in relationships
  • Want to feel safer and more secure with themselves and others
  • Desire deeper healing, not just symptom management
  • Value the support of women walking similar paths

What We Explore Together

Our work is grounded in Natural Processing and integrates insights from attachment theory, Polyvagal Theory, somatic psychotherapy, EMDR’s Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model, and parts work.

Together we explore:

  • Understanding trauma and attachment injuries
  • How unresolved experiences can remain stored within the nervous system
  • Building resilience and emotional regulation
  • Developing an earned secure attachment
  • Increasing awareness of emotions and body sensations
  • Caring for wounded and protective parts of yourself with compassion
  • Understanding relationship patterns through a trauma-informed lens
  • Learning grounding and nervous system regulation practices that can be used in everyday life

Members are supported in staying present with their emotional and somatic experiences at a pace that feels manageable. Each meeting concludes with a grounding or regulation exercise to help everyone leave feeling more settled, connected, and regulated.

A Healing Community

While the group meets online each week, once a month we gather in person at our Sunset Hills office on a Thursday from 6:30–8:00 p.m.

These evenings provide an opportunity to deepen relationships, strengthen the sense of community within the group, and experience the unique healing that can occur through shared presence. Many members find these gatherings become one of the most meaningful parts of the group experience.

Why Group Therapy?

Healing happens in relationships.

While individual therapy is incredibly valuable, group therapy offers something unique: the opportunity to experience acceptance, connection, and growth alongside others who truly understand. Many of the wounds created in relationships can begin to heal within healthy relationships.

After more than 20 years of facilitating psychotherapy groups, I’ve had the privilege of watching women discover they are not alone, find hope, experience meaningful change, and develop deeper compassion for themselves and one another. It is one of the most rewarding parts of my work, and I’d be honored to welcome you into this community if it feels like the right fit.
