Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Whether you’re pursuing EMDRIA Certification, Consultant status, or simply want to become a more effective EMDR therapist, consultation provides an opportunity to strengthen your confidence, deepen your case conceptualization, and continue growing professionally.

My consultation groups emphasize thoughtful clinical thinking while integrating EMDR with attachment, nervous system regulation, somatic therapies, and Natural Processing. Rather than simply teaching protocols, I strive to help therapists become more flexible, attuned, and confident clinicians.

What to Expect

Most meetings center around case consultation from an EMDR and Natural Processing perspective. Together, we’ll explore case conceptualization, treatment planning, and interventions while integrating attachment, nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, and resilience.

In addition to case consultation, I often incorporate different learning experiences based on the needs of the group. These may include:

  • Live demonstrations of specific interventions or clinical concepts.
  • Role plays to practice new skills and increase confidence.
  • Experiential demonstrations where—with the therapist’s permission—we explore what their client is eliciting in them. These experiences often help therapists recognize their own emotional and nervous system responses, deepen their understanding of the therapeutic relationship, and uncover valuable information that can inform treatment.

I believe some of the most meaningful learning happens not only through discussing cases but also through experiencing the therapeutic process firsthand. These experiential opportunities are always collaborative, voluntary, and intended to support both professional growth and personal development.
